Starting as indie filmmaker in Germany in the early 90s, Uwe Boll became a director and producer of Hollywood style B-movies and computer game based films. Disliked by many, he was working with Oscar-winning actors and making films with 60 million dollar budgets. He put out 32 feature films, some of them have been screened at previous BUT editions. Already a cult legend, Uwe Boll will be remembered forever in the film world. Critics should be punched in the face, according to Uwe Boll, who also used to be a semi-pro boxer.
